Emojis' Effect on Communication is my BFA thesis project. It explores how emojis have changed digital communication, specifically looking at how they’re used by different genders, populations, countries and more. To complete this project I researched usage trends, misinterpretations, and platform differences, then created a series of motion graphic works.

After completing the motion work, I decided to create a booklet as a companion piece. This booklet covered the same range of topics as the videos did, but had a more detailed breakdown of the data found in the papers.
